Commissioning Management

 

A brief resume of the Commissioning Management responsibilites which would be carried out.

i)    Review of the design for commissionability prior to tender stage.

ii)   Preparation of the commissioning programme which would identify construction and installation dependencies.

iii)  Review and approve method statements.

iv)  Review and approve test sheets.

v)   Checking and monitoring during installation periods for systems completion and commissionability.

vi)  Witnessing and accepting the systems performance tests and identifying and overseeing, as required, any repeat works.

vii) Control of all commissioning documentation for inclusion in the Operating and Maintenance Manual.

 

Greater benefit comes from the Commissioning Manager being employed directly by the Client because of the real authority to push the contract to prevent installation delays.
