Seasonal Commissioning

 

Over time mechanical systems become less efficent due to general wear and tear or neglect, to extend a systems life and keep it running as cost efficient as possible it is advisable to do regular checks, at least annually. These checks will also help maintain a healthy environment for your workforce, or keep expensive manufacturing equipment ruuning in fine order.

 

The main items requiring checking are:

 

i)   Fresh air quantities to occupied areas.

ii)  Extract air quantities from kitchens/toilets/laboratories etc.

iii) Air regime tests in Operating theatres/laboratories etc.

iv) Domestic hot and cold water systems, temperatures and circulation.

v)  Heating flow rates to all emitters (Ahu's, radiant panels, radiators, heat exchangers, underfloor heating etc.)

vi) Chilled water flow rates to Chillers and sensitive areas.
